Yolky clips onto the side of most size bowls and mugs. Crack the egg over the separating dish, the yolk stays intact while the white runs through. Customer Reviews: 0 of 0 found this review helpful: Cute, But Not Worth The Price, 2008-02-24 I was disappointed to find out that this doesn't really "clip" to the bowl edge. It has a notch/groove that is supposed to snap over the edge. All my bowls have lips on them, so when I try to put 'Yolky' on the bowl it sits at a major slant (making it useless). With shipping costs the price was over seven dollars. Hey, we all need a little space, right? So do egg whites and yolks! Yolky clips onto the side of your mixing bowl and makes separating whites from yolks simpler and cleaner than the old "passing the yolk back and forth" method. Don't be turned off by the hilarity of Yolky's looks. My kids love Yolky's help when making desserts with me, and even my husband can't help himself. Advanced bakers may not find it necessary, but with two kids and a cooking-challenged husband in the kitchen, I can use all the help I can get!
